David Hardiman and Shashi Tharoor in conversation

30 Jun 2019 – 11.00 - 12.15

Mahatma Gandhi is a colossus of the 20th century, one of the most influential thinkers and activists who changed the world. On the 150th anniversary of his birth this reflection on the revolutionary qualities of his politics and its contemporary resonance with India’s role as an emerging superpower will interrogate how today’s thinkers and academics view Gandhi.

To answer these questions, join a panel that includes writer and politician, Shashi Tharoor, David Hardiman and Priyamvada Gopal to discuss the nature of Gandhi – the man and legacy.
